It's a beautiful morning in Unnamed Unincorporated Settlement, and Leena and Myka are having tea and conversation. "I know you're feeling lost," Leena says sympathetically.

"What?" Myka asks, a bit confused.

"Artie's past, MacPherson, it can be a bit disorienting, I know."

"I feel pretty clear, actually. Things are the way they are, don't fight it, just go with it. Whenever I don't, I always end up back in the same place, not a good one." The two women share a smile. "Thank you for the tea."

"I'm gonna do it, I'm doing it, I'm doing it--" Artie elbows his way past Leena as she exits, careful not to spill the coffee cup balanced on his slinged arm. After a little maneuvering, he upends the paper bag in his other hand, spilling half a dozen croissants onto the dining room table.
